Typical March. Completely unreliable.
This past weekend was yummy. Blue skies. Warm weather. We actually turned on the AC yesterday.
"What?" you say. "AC??" "Are you crazy?"
We live on the 4th floor of a condo that's very well insulated top, bottom and sides. We rarely have to turn on the heat except when it gets really cold (saving us a gazillion dollars over the last two years since we moved from our huge 3700 square foot house with a cathedral ceiling that sucked up every bit of heat and pinched our pockets from the utility bills each month and I love a run-on sentence don't you.) Downside is we do have to sometimes turn on the AC a little earlier in the year and leave it on a little later in the year. But our checking account is STILL waaaaaay ahead in the end.
And what do we have today? Cold. Thank you March. I love you, but I'm so over it.
I didn't sleep well last night. Things on my mind. Hitting the sack early tonight with a warm glass of milk. When someone first suggested drinking warm milk I literally gaged. I couldn't think of anything worse. I love milk, but only cold milk. Then I tried it warm and I LOVE it. It has a whole different, nutty, sweetish flavor, and it really helps me sleep better. It's a comfort food to me now.
The hospital called Mom today with dates for my brother's biopsy. On Wed he has an appointment to talk with the anesthesiologist, and on Friday he gets the biopsy. Since I'm off work on Friday, I'll be going with them.
